Welcome to Delhi
On arrival at DELHI Indira Gandhi International Airport (Terminal 3), following customs, immigration formalities and baggage collection, as you exit the arrival terminal building, you will be welcomed by India Tours & Travels executive holding a placard in your name to greet you. After that, you will be assisted with a transfer to your hotel and check-in.
Delhi, India’s capital territory, is also known for its people with happy hearts and dynamic nature. A symbol of the country’s rich past and thriving present, Delhi is a city where ancient and modern blend seamlessly together and stands as one of the fastest developing cities in the world. The thriving cosmopolitan metro has a long history of empire successions from Delhi Sultanate to Mughals to British and still is the political capital of the nation.

Day 2
Sights of Delhi
After breakfast, proceed for a sightseeing tour at Old & New Delhi. Begin with Old Delhi which still has the influence of the Mughals with monuments, mosques, and forts all through the complicated streets. Take a drive past Red Fort and reach Jama Masjid, the country’s largest mosque with fine architectural extravagance. From here, we will take through the small lanes of the Chandni Chowk market by cycle rickshaws which have there been for more than three centuries. This ride will be most captivating as you get a first-hand view of the merchants, the little food and artefact stalls and the swarming population, busy in their daily activities. End your old Delhi sightseeing with a stop at the world-famous 200-year-old Attar shop (Closed on Sunday). For people who are not aware of what Attar is; it is a non alcoholic perfume, directly squeezed from herbs, fruits, flowers and spices. One can choose Rose, Sandal, Musk, lots of other fragrances. In the afternoon, continue with New Delhi sightseeing starting with Bangla Sahib Gurdwara, the most prominent Sikh shrine in New Delhi. Make a visit to the main central hall and the famous community kitchen which prepares food for 40,000 needy people every day. Then drive past the official buildings of New Delhi like the War Memorial Arch (India Gate), Parliament House, the official residence of the President of India and the Prime Minister’s house. Conclude your sightseeing with a visit to Humayun's Tomb, a UNESCO World Heritage site and an architectural masterpiece.

Day 3
Flight to Jabalpur & drive to Bandhavgarh National Park
By Flight: Departure Delhi at 1010 hrs. / Arrival Jabalpur at 1135 hrs. or similar
Early in the morning, as per the above-mentioned flight, you will be assisted with a departure transfer to Delhi domestic airport to board the flight to Jabalpur. On arrival at Jabalpur Airport, you will be assisted with a transfer to your hotel in Bandhavgarh (Approx. 03 to 04 hrs. drive). As you leave the city behind, watch the landscape transform into lush forests, open fields, and charming villages, offering a glimpse of rural India's serene beauty. On reaching Bandhavgarh, check in to your jungle lodge or hotel, nestled amidst the verdant forest surroundings. Spend the rest of the day at leisure — relax, acclimatize to the peaceful ambiance, and soak in the sounds of nature around you.

Day 4
Bandhavgarh – Morning & Afternoon Jeep Safaris
Rise early today and set off for an exhilarating morning jeep safari (with packed breakfast) in Bandhavgarh National Park, one of India's premier tiger reserves. As the forest awakens, venture deep into the park's diverse terrain of Sal forests, bamboo thickets, and open meadows, guided by an expert naturalist. Bandhavgarh is famed for having one of the highest densities of Royal Bengal Tigers, so keep your camera ready—you might just catch a glimpse of these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat! Besides tigers, the park is home to a rich variety of wildlife including leopards, sloth bears, gaur (Indian bison), spotted deer, sambhar, langurs, and an incredible array of birdlife. Return to your lodge to relax, enjoying the tranquil forest surroundings. You may wish to read by the veranda or simply soak in the sounds of the wilderness. In the afternoon, after an early lunch or tea, gear up once again for another jeep safari (Bandhavgarh National Park stays closed on Wednesday afternoon). As the day cools, the chances of wildlife sightings increase. Your guide will help you track animal movements and interpret the many signs of the jungle, from alarm calls to pugmarks. Enjoy the golden hues of sunset filtering through the forest as you complete your thrilling day in Bandhavgarh. Return to your lodge after the safari and spend the evening at leisure, perhaps sharing stories of the day’s adventures around a crackling campfire.

Travel to Kanha
After an early breakfast, bid farewell to the lush forests of Bandhavgarh as you set off on a scenic drive to Kanha National Park (Approx. 05 to 06 hrs. drive). The journey will take you through the rustic heartland of Madhya Pradesh, passing small villages, fields, and wooded landscapes—offering glimpses of rural life along the way. Upon arrival at your lodge in Kanha, check-in and take the rest of the day to relax and rejuvenate amidst the tranquil surroundings. Kanha, often regarded as the inspiration for Rudyard Kipling’s The Jungle Book, is one of India’s most celebrated wildlife reserves, known for its thriving populations of tigers, barasingha (swamp deer), leopards, and diverse bird species.Spend the evening at leisure, preparing for the adventures that await you in the days ahead.

Day 6
Kanha – Morning & Afternoon Jeep Safaris
Rise early this morning for your first thrilling jeep safari into the heart of Kanha National Park (with packed breakfast). As the sun casts golden hues over the misty meadows and dense sal forests, venture into the wilderness with your expert naturalist guide, tracking the movements of the park’s magnificent wildlife. Keep your eyes peeled for the elusive Bengal tiger, leopards slinking through the undergrowth, herds of spotted deer grazing peacefully, playful langurs, and the rare barasingha, Kanha’s very own "jewel of the jungle." Return to your lodge and spend some time to relax during the late morning and early afternoon. You might choose to unwind at the lodge, enjoy a nature walk around the property, or simply savor the quietude of the surrounding forest. In the late afternoon, set off again for your second jeep safari (Kanha National Park stays closed on Wednesday afternoon), when wildlife activity peaks as animals emerge from their shaded hideouts. Your naturalist will help interpret the sights and sounds of the jungle, enriching your safari experience with fascinating insights into animal behavior, flora, and conservation efforts in Kanha. As dusk descends, return to your lodge, where you can share stories of the day's sightings around a cozy bonfire or during a relaxed dinner under the stars.

Enjoy an early breakfast at your lodge, taking a moment to soak in the tranquil beauty of the forest one last time. Later, embark on a scenic drive to Jabalpur Airport (Approx. 4.5 hrs. drive), journeying through rustic countryside, vibrant fields, and charming villages that offer a fascinating glimpse into the rhythm of rural life in India. Upon arrival at Jabalpur Airport, board your flight back to Delhi where you will be greeted by an India Tours & Travels representative and transferred to your hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure — relax at your hotel or explore the bustling capital city at your own pace, reflecting on the incredible experiences from your wildlife adventure.
