On arrival at DELHI Indira Gandhi International Airport (Terminal 3), following customs, immigration formalities and baggage collection, as you exit the arrival terminal building, you will be welcomed by India Tours & Travels executive holding a placard in your name to greet you. After that, you will be assisted with a transfer to your hotel and check-in.
Delhi, India’s capital territory, is also known for its people with happy hearts and dynamic nature. A symbol of the country’s rich past and thriving present, Delhi is a city where ancient and modern blend seamlessly together and stands as one of the fastest developing cities in the world. The thriving cosmopolitan metro has a long history of empire successions from Delhi Sultanate to Mughals to British and still is the political capital of the nation.

Day 2

Explore the sites of Old & New Delhi

After breakfast, begin your sightseeing with Old Delhi which still has the influence of the Mughals with monuments, mosques, and forts all through the complicated streets. Take a drive past Red Fort and reach Jama Masjid, the country’s largest mosque with fine architectural extravagance. From here, take cycle rickshaws through the small lanes of the Chandni Chowk market. This ride will be most captivating as you get a first-hand view of the merchants, the little food and artefact stalls and the swarming population, busy in their daily activities. End your old Delhi sightseeing with a stop at the world-famous 200-year-old Attar shop (Closed on Sunday). For people who are not aware of what Attar is; it is a non-alcoholic perfume, directly squeezed from herbs, fruits, flowers and spices. One can choose Rose, Sandal, Musk, Amber, Lavender, Lotus and lots of other fragrances. In the afternoon, continue with New Delhi sightseeing starting with Bangla Sahib Gurdwara, dedicated to the 8th Sikh guru Sri Harkishen Sahib, which is the most prominent Sikh shrine in New Delhi. On entering the premises, you can hear the magical chants and bhajan which relaxes the mind and the body. Make a visit the famous community kitchen which prepares food for 40,000 needy people every day. Then drive past the official buildings of New Delhi like the War Memorial Arch (India Gate), Parliament House, the official residence of the President of India and the Prime Minister’s house. Conclude your sightseeing with a visit to Qutub Minar, the 73-meter-high tower is one of the most important landmarks of Delhi and a world heritage site.

Day 3

Travel to Agra and sightseeing

Taj Mahal & Travel to Jaipur via Abhaneri

Built by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal, the Taj is at its most serene and enchanting in the early morning. Wander through its marble pathways, admire the delicate inlay work, and take in the breathtaking symmetry of this timeless masterpiece (a Sunrise visit to the Taj Mahal would be subject to the weather conditions). After returning to your hotel for breakfast, continue your journey to Jaipur (Approx. 04 to 05 hrs. drive), the vibrant capital of Rajasthan. En route, stop at Abhaneri, a small village famous for its spectacular Chand Baori Stepwell, one of the largest and most visually stunning stepwells in India. Next, proceed to Amber Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, situated atop Aravalli Hill. This magnificent fort and palace complex will leave you in awe with its maze-like passages and serpentine staircases. Continue your journey to the City Palace, an impressive architectural marvel built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II between 1729 and 1732. This vast complex is divided into various courtyards, buildings, and gardens, including Chandra Mahal and Mubarak Mahal. Take your time to explore each section and admire the opulence that was once enjoyed by Jaipur's royals. Don't forget to visit the museum within the palace premises. Afterwards, make your way to Jantar Mantar, an astronomical observatory also designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Day 7

Sights of Udaipur

Enjoy a city tour of Udaipur visiting Jagdish Temple, dedicated to Lord Vishnu. With its beautiful carvings, appealing statues, and serene atmosphere, it is the most significant temple in Udaipur. City Palace, built on the banks of Lake Pichola, the largest royal complex in Rajasthan, was built in 1559 by Maharana Udai Singh. The palace used to be the main seat of power from which the Maharana ruled and administered the power. The granite and marble edifice now has an assortment of, courtyards, pavilions, corridors, terraces, rooms and hanging gardens, and a museum showcasing the finest elements of Rajputana art and culture. Conclude your sightseeing with a sunset boat ride at Lake Pichola with a stop at Jag Mandir. Travel to Dambulla visiting Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage enroute

En route, make a memorable stop at the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, a renowned sanctuary established to care for orphaned and injured elephants. After breakfast, check-out drive to Yala National Park (Approx. 03 to 04 hrs. drive), one of Sri Lanka’s most iconic wildlife reserves, renowned for having one of the world’s highest densities of leopards. On arrival, check in to your lodge nestled on the edge of the jungle and take some time to unwind as you soak in the tranquil wilderness around you. In the afternoon, set out on an exhilarating jeep safari with an experienced ranger, exploring Yala’s rich and varied habitats—from open plains and thorny scrublands to freshwater lagoons teaming with birdlife. As you journey deeper into the reserve, keep your eyes peeled for elephants, spotted deer, wild boar, crocodiles, and a chance to spot the elusive leopard in its natural domain. Day 16

Travel to Beruwala/Bentota via Galle & Mask Factory in Ambalangoda enroute

After breakfast, depart for the coastal town of Beruwala/Bentota, a journey that takes you from Sri Lanka’s southern wilderness to its golden beaches. En route, stop in the historic city of Galle, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its beautifully preserved Dutch Fort. Take a leisurely stroll along the Galle Fort ramparts, explore the narrow cobblestone streets lined with colonial-era buildings, and browse charming boutiques, art galleries, and cafés. Discover key highlights such as the Galle Lighthouse, the Dutch Reformed Church, and the Old Gate, all while soaking in the blend of European and South Asian architecture and culture. Continue your drive with another fascinating stop at a traditional Mask Factory in Ambalangoda, where you’ll learn about Sri Lanka’s rich heritage of handcrafted masks used in ancient rituals, storytelling, and folk dances. Arrive in Beruwala/Bentota (Approx. 04 to 05 hrs. drive) by late afternoon and check in to your beachfront hotel. The rest of the day is yours to relax by the sea, take a dip in the pool, or enjoy a peaceful walk along the palm-fringed shore.

Day 17

Day at leisure in Beruwala/Bentota

Today is a day at leisure to relax and unwind at your own pace. Enjoy the serene surroundings of Beruwala/Bentota, known for its golden beaches, swaying palms, and laid-back coastal charm. You may choose to spend the day lounging by the pool, taking long walks along the beach, or indulging in a soothing Ayurvedic spa treatment (on direct payment). For the more adventurous, optional water sports for kids/adults (on direct payment) such as jet skiing, windsurfing, or banana boat rides are available on the Beruwala/Bentota River. Alternatively, simply sit back with a book and soak in the tropical atmosphere as you enjoy your final full day in paradise.

Day 18

Beruwala/Bentota to Colombo and Departure

After breakfast, check out (standard check-out time is 1200 hrs. - noon) from your hotel and bid farewell to the golden shores of Bentota/Beruwala. You will be transferred to Bandaranaike International Airport in Colombo (Approx. 1.5 to 02 hrs. drive) in time for your onward flight.
